Terms of Service

Last updated June, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to the Branchly website and your use of the Branchly WordPress plugin.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Branchly, you agree to these Terms.

License Grant

Upon purchasing a valid license, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Branchly according to the license tier you have purchased.

A license may only be used within the limits specified by your plan.

License Activation

Branchly uses Freemius to manage licensing and software updates.

The plugin periodically communicates with the licensing servers to:

  • Verify license validity
  • Determine update eligibility
  • Validate activation limits
  • Retrieve licensing information

Disabling these checks may prevent access to automatic updates or premium functionality.

Updates and Support

Your purchase may include access to software updates and support for the period specified at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue features of the software at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key.
  • Remove or modify copyright notices.
  • Reverse engineer or modify the plugin for the purpose of bypassing licensing restrictions.
  • Use the software in violation of applicable laws.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted under the GNU General Public License (GPL) where applicable.

Intellectual Property

The Branchly name, branding, website content, documentation, graphics, and other proprietary materials remain our intellectual property.

Only the plugin code itself is licensed under the applicable open-source license.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the refund policy presented during checkout and the policies of our licensing platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Branchly is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every environment or use case.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Branchly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable license.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate licenses obtained through fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued before termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Branchly after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
